My Tribute To |Your MemoriesYour LegacyandYour LessonsLuLu
On the day that you were born, the Angels shouted loud.
Because God looked at you and was so very proud!
In the years that have passed, God must have watched you every day.
He must have been delighted with what He saw, as you served Him, always, come what may.
You look at people of all kinds, and stripes, from all types of backgrounds, nationalities and walks of life.
And only see beauty, and good, regardless of their lifes' choice.
Even when they were not doing as they should.
As you helped so many with their problems, you filled the world with joy and light.
You helped people see that after all, things weren't that bad.
As you enabled them to broaden their sight.
You were filled with God's love, wisdom and insight.
You shared so much compassion, love, and knowlege with others.
Over the years you supported people dealing with their many issues.
With their friends, family, fathers, and mothers...or lack thereof.
God saw, and foreknew, how much you would bless this world.
That is why He made sure you had more than enough to share.
That is why He blessed you in so many ways.
You were, and I believe you still are, full of joy, encourging words, and love.
As you brighten so many different people's days.
So, on this solemn day of your homegoing.
I pray Gob's richest blessing upon your soul.
I pray your memory will be a blessing to everyone who recalls interacting with you.
I pray your legacy will include millions of souls brought to His kingdom.
Hailing from here at home or from distant shores.
I wish you could feel all the love poured out for you, right here and now.
As you now find sweet rest in the comfort of God's arms,
I wish you could feel the love your friends and family members send.
Some with cheers, others with tears...other silent and calm.
We miss you LuLu, with all our hearts now broken.
I will remember to be kind to others, just as you were kind to me.
I promise to shelter the strangers, just as you sheltered me.
I pledge not to be judgemental, giving everyone a chance, just like you gave to me.
I promise to take time for new experiences, and have fun, just like your life taught me.
I'll try my best to laugh as healthily, and often, as you did...and I'm sure you still do.
I'll be sure to not just pray for others, but love them 'till it hurts.
Even when they themselves might not love themselves.
I will think the best of others, giving them the benefit of the doubt, of course.
I will remember to sing for someone else, especially when they are at their worst.
Because I remember how your words and melodies helped my life find it's purpose.
Above all, I must remember to love everyone I meet.
Making it a point of duty to always smile first.
Treating them the way God would want them to be treated.
For that, if nothing else, was the one thing we had between us.
God's Love... Oh, such a powerful force.
Lickle More LuLu!
I can tell you, it's already quite difficult on this side, living without you here.
Like you did, I must carry on with my mission; spreading love far and near.
I'll hold your memories, legacy, and lessons, inside my heart...ever so dear.
While you teach Angels how to sing with your special kind of melody.
I thank God for giving me the chance to know you, lady.
La Una...Yes, Heaven and Earth sings.
You are "The One...LuLu: The One And Only".
Rest on...In Jesus' Arms. Enjoy your new life Everlasting.
